Sale Turf Club is the venue for Victorian thoroughbred racing on Thursday afternoon. Race one gets underway at 1pm AEST, with the last of eight set to start at 4:30pm. The quaddie starts at 3pm and it looks to be a tough one to predict for the second day in a row.

Craig Newitt will steer Hesitate in the Sale. She finished fourth at her last start. The horse has run a second and third from two attempts on Good ground. She drops back to 1415m after running over 1717m last time.

Royal Hard Hat won his debut at this track on a Good surface over 1400m. He had four jumpouts before breaking his maiden. Josh Richards will try to position up in the top three or four and get some cover. Pantherland won well two starts back but his form on Good tracks isn't great.

Jupiter is a value bet with online bookmakers. She was placed three times in her last 10 starts. Last start she finished fourth at Pakenham.
