The Valley R7 No.2 Milford

Milford (2) has been a nightmare for win-only punters this campaign but he's racing incredibly well. He ran a real eye-catcher second-up and has loomed as the winner every start since without breaking through. He would've won with any sort of luck over this route last start and this is a very similar assignment. It's D-Day for him but he's worth one more crack.Rosehill R5 No.2 Extremely LuckyExtremely Lucky (2) is the horse I want to follow this spring. The former South Australian looks set to go to the next level under Chris Waller and his two trials have been super - the first hitting the line under a good hold behind I Am Me where Fangirl was third.Eagle Farm R3 No.4 AshgroveThe Tony Gollan/Jim Orman combination is unstoppable at present and now third-up Ashgrove (4) is ready to win. He is working up to longer but won his only previous start over this trip and has enough turn of foot to account for these.BEST VALUE

The Valley R9 No.7 Rebel Factor

The Tasmanian visitor Rebel Factor (7) looks capable of causing an upset here at $20. He won a recent trial in quiet fashion but he must be going really well at home for the Wells stable to have a crack at a race like this first-up. The speed looks frantic on paper and if he can just stay in touch from barrier three, he should be dangerous late with only 51.5kg on his back. He's three from three when fresh and ran a cracking 2nd to All-Star Mile placegetter The Inevitable in the Listed Conquering Stakes last campaign.Rosehill R4 No.4 Pure FuegoPure Fuego (4) should have finished a lot closer than he did behind Iron Will - the form line a lot of these bring. Looked to be coming on strongly but was blocked for a run at the 150m mark and never got clear from there. Is in Barrier 20 here, so needs plenty of luck but James McDonald sticks.Eagle Farm R9 No.14 Sheza FirecrackerIt has been a long time since Liam Birchley has trained a Saturday winner but Sheza Firecracker (14) has won her past two at the Sunshine Coast and has a good record at this trip. Mares in form can never be ignored and with a 3kg claim for Bailey Wheeler will get every chance.
