Six Sporting KC Academy teams to compete at MLS NEXT Fest

Six Sporting KC Academy teams will compete at MLS NEXT Fest. The seven-day event will be held at the Empire Polo Ground in Indio, California from December 2-8. It will feature over 300 youth teams from across the United States and Canada. MLS Next Fest is the first showcase for new Sporting FC Academy Director Declan Jogi. The academy's campaign began in September and will run through the MLS next cup playoffs from June 17-25.

Six Sporting KC Academy teams will compete at MLS NEXT Fest. MLS Next was launched in 2020 to transform youth soccer in North America. Membership for the 2022-23 season includes 137 clubs, 628 teams and over 13,000 players across the U.S. and Canada.
