Stanford vs. Colorado College Football Player Props, Odds

Our Stanford-Colorado college football player props for Week 7 are based on the best college football odds, and we believe the Buffaloes’ passing attack will bounce back on Friday.

Colorado celebrated as if it won a conference championship last week when it outlasted a woeful Arizona State team, 27-24.

Can Deion Sanders’ bunch find its footing a little more consistently on offense as it hosts Stanford in Week 7?

Our Stanford vs. Colorado predictions gets you ready for this matchup ahead of your college football best bets for Saturday.

To go along with the rest of our college football predictions for Week 7, here are our best Stanford vs. Colorado college football player props for Week 7 (college football odds via our best college football betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Stanford vs. Colorado college football player props: Week 7

Shedeur Sanders Over 342.5 passing yards (-114 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

While Deion Sanders has done an admirable job in turning around the program in Boulder overnight, the fledgling roster still seems to have trouble hitting on all cylinders in certain road environments.

Perhaps that was the case for Shedeur Sanders and Co. during Week 6 in Tempe, as the gunslinging quarterback failed to eclipse 250 passing yards for only the second time this season. This week sets up as an opportunity for the Buffs to pour it on against a Stanford pass defense that ranks 128th in FBS, allowing 312.5 yards per game through the air.

Even if Colorado opens up a big lead, I look for Sanders to continue attacking Stanford through the air, where the Cardinal are weakest. Most of our best sports betting apps list the line at 349.5 yards, so FanDuel’s offering at 342.5 with -114 odds on Over is the best value we’ve found.

Our Phillip Wood also likes this betting angle, as he explained in his top Shedeur Sanders player props for Friday's matchup.

Anthony Hankerson Under 48.5 rushing yards (-115 via Caesars, bet365) ⭐⭐⭐

Anthony Hankerson has split the workload in the Colorado rushing game with Dylan Edwards relatively evenly through six games, drawing 48 carries to Edwards’ 47. As of this writing, only Hankerson seems to be listed for a rushing total at our best sports betting sites.

Hankerson was far more efficient than Edwards at Arizona State. Listed 25 pounds heavier than Edwards, and considering the close nature of the contest, my estimate is that Colorado deemed it necessary to give more work to the bulkier back.

Stanford’s top 50 run defense will cause Colorado to do more of what it wants to do, anyway, which is throw the ball. In a game that Colorado should win more easily at home, I’m also projecting the flashier Edwards to reclaim the lead role, leaving Hankerson shy of his rushing total.

DraftKings (-130 odds) and FanDuel (42.5 yards) are spots to avoid for an Under bet on this prop. Stick with Caesars or bet365 (48.5 yards, -115 odds) for this wager.

Editor's note: Our Shane Jackson took the Over on Hankerson's rushing prop at a much lower number in his top Stanford vs. Colorado prediction earlier this week.

Xavier Weaver Over 85.5 receiving yards (-115 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐

Trying to project which Colorado receiver is going to be the star of the offense on a given week has been like shooting fish in a barrel.

A week after Omarion Miller’s breakout performance against USC, he caught just one pass for nine yards against Arizona State as Javon Antonio led the group with 81 yards and a touchdown.

When the Colorado offense has been at its best and most consistent, we’ve seen Xavier Weaver play a substantial role. Although he caught just two passes for 17 yards against ASU, Weaver has cleared this receiving line three times on the season.

Given the massive variance in this receiving room, the value at 85.5 yards (avoid the 86.5 line at FanDuel) is admittedly not great on this line. But in a game where we expect the quarterback to throw for a prolific total, I’m leaning into the veteran Weaver to exploit one of the worst secondaries in the nation for a huge rebound game on Friday.
