Start Times for Games 1 and 2 of Rangers-Orioles ALDS Revealed

The Texas Rangers are back in the ALDS after sweeping the Tampa Bay Rays to begin the playoffs. Now, Texas will look to pull off another upset against the top-seeded Baltimore Orioles.

Ahead of this series, the start times for the first couple of games have been announced.

First pitch of Game 1 will be at 1:03 p.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 7. Game 2 on Sunday, Oct. 8 is set to start at 4:07 p.m. ET. Game 3 at Globe Life Field begins at 8:03 p.m. ET on Tuesday.

TV coverage for the start of the series is split across a few channels. FS1 is airing both Games 1 and 2, while FOX is broadcasting Game 3's matchup.

Now that some of the immediate uncertainty has been cleared up, the Rangers can start to lock in ahead of Saturday's first pitch. They've got plenty of good vibes on their side with how they performed in the Wild Card Round. Their pitching staff was lights-out, holding an elite Rays offense to just one run over both games combined. Their bats showed up as well with 11 runs, including 7 in Game 2 to send Tampa Bay packing.

That being said, Texas held its own against the Orioles this season. They split their six head-to-head matchups, and the Rangers outscored Baltimore 26-19 overall.
