The fourth staging of the ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP takes place in Japan. The coverage will be broadcast on either side of midnight in the US.
The ZOZO Championship takes place at Narashino Country Club in Japan. It was the scene of Tiger Woods’ 82nd PGA TOUR win in 2019. Patrick Cantlay won the tournament in 2020 at Sherwood Country club. Hideki Matsuyama won in 2021 at the Narasino course. There is a limited field of 78 players and no cut. The purse is $11,000,00.
Viktor Hovland finished tied 41st in the 2019 event in Japan. He has three PGA Tour wins and two on the DP World Tour. Hvland won the Hero World Challenge last December. He finished fourth in July's Open Championship and fifth in last month's BMW Pga Championship.
Keegan Bradley and Tommy Fleetwood finished in a tie for seventh at Narashino last year. Bradley has won six and tied two of their last 10 head-to-head matches. Tommy is still struggling to find his best form.
Tom Hoge is playing in the Fortinet Championship. He finished tied 12th at the Tour Championship and tied fourth in Shriners Children's Open. HoG is preparing for the tournament by changing irons and putting. He has experience playing at this event after contesting it last year.
