It’s been an interesting start to the season in the AFC South, with all four teams sitting at 2-2.

This will be the division opener for the Titans, who are coming off their most impressive win of the season, a 27-3 thumping of the visiting Cincinnati Bengals in Week 4.

Running back Derrick Henry ranks eighth in the league with 285 rushing yards, while the Tennessee defense has been much better against the run (fourth with 70 yards per game) than pass (23rd with 241.3 yards).

Indy is coming off a 29-23 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 4. The Colts, however, deserve credit after rallying from a 23-0 deficit in the second half to necessitate the extra period.

Rookie QB Anthony Richardson has impressed as a dual threat, accounting for seven total TDs (four rushing, three passing) despite missing a game and a half with a concussion.

After opening as an underdog, the Titans are a short road favorite with a consensus game total of 42.5 points.

Tennessee has won and covered in the last five head-to-head meetings.

But despite the impressive win in Week 4, Ryan Tannehill, Henry and the Titans are showing some definite cracks and have lost five straight road games dating back through Week 13 of last season.

Look for Richardson and the Colts to pull out the close win this time around and snap Tennessee’s series win streak.

Stud running back Jonathan Taylor is on schedule to make his 2023 debut Sunday. But that will only serve to keep opposing defenses more honest when it comes to defending the big and athletic Indy rookie QB.

Richardson has rushed for at least 35 yards and at least one TD in each of his three games so far, so look for him to get into the end zone once again Sunday.
