Tommy Berry is considering a Caulfield Cup ride on Everest day. The Caufield is a big player in the lead-up to the Melbourne Cup. Last year, no less than 13 riders who participated in Caoifl Cup went on to secure Melbourne Cups rides. Only three of the twelve jockeys involved in The Everest rode in Melbourne. The likes of Bowman, Rawiller and Berry are missing from the famous first Tuesday in November. It's interesting for jockey's to work with. They want to fulfill their childhood dreams by adding the two major Victorian Cups to their honour roll.
