Arsenal star Martin Odegaard could have his hands full at Tottenham

Bet on fireworks in the north London derby.

History hints that the Arsenal WIN at a thin 6/5 is a damp squib – there hasn’t been a single away victory in this pair of Prem fixtures since 2014.

Mikel Arteta played in that Gunners’ 1-0 back then, and he’ll be kicking every ball today, unless Antonio Conte kicks it first. Watch for 50-50s in the technical area.

It will probably get spicy all over – there’s been a sending off in five of the past 10 PL meetings, and OVER 4.5 cards in eight of those.

Today’s whistler Craig Pawson blows a bit hot and cold, but the 3/1 (Hills) that ‘a player gets sent off’ looks right.

Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka are both one yellow from a ban, but that will be forgotten – even sensible heads get caught up in all the excitement, and the bookings punt to have is Martin Odegaard – carded in both derbies last season – at a chunky 11/2 (Bet365, Paddy) ‘to be shown a card’.

Kane has scored in 17 of his 31 games for club and country this season – including in nine of his 13 home games for Spurs.

He’s struck in seven of his past 10 Prem games against Arsenal.

The 33/20 (Unibet) that he’s an ‘anytime scorer’ today is a little sparkler.

For 58 minutes in midweek, right up until Joao Felix scored a stunning three-game ban on his debut, poor Chelsea boss Graham Potter must have dared to hope that he’d actually cracked it. It’s the hope that gets you, of course.

Visitors Crystal Palace (2pm) are far from no-hopers today, but Blues’ defender Kalidou Koulibaly has the stats to make us feel optimistic about him at 14/1 (Unibet) ‘anytime scorer’.

Newcastle have produced four ‘no goalscorer’ returns in their past 10 games and seven in 23 this season. You’d never know it from the prices for today’s visit of Fulham (2pm).

Eddie Howe has his Toon riding high on the back of an iron-clad defence – and you’d fancy them to contain the Cottagers. Take NO ‘both teams to score’ at 21/20 (BetVic; Evens Paddy) – and spin a nugget at 12/1 (Bet365) ‘no scorer’.

Over in Serie A, Roma’s World Cup winner Paulo Dybala is an ‘anytime scorer’ bargain at 11/4 (Bet365) at home to Fiorentina (7.45pm).
