Warwick Farm preview: Ron Quinton pleased to have De An Andretti back
De An Andretti is back at Warwick Farm after a 4-month absence. She was injured and had to recuperate. Ron Quinton's horse will race in Wednesday's ATC Darn Hot Yearlings Handicap (1100m) with Andrew Adkins taking the ride. The form is available here. The filly won her debut at Hawkesbury on April 14, 2021. De AnAndretti was backed in from $5.50 to $4.20 to win the Group 2 A TC Furious Stakes (1200m). She caught a virus 10 days after the Furious and it was bad.
Anthony Cummings can become a winner of 1000th race if his horse, Never Fails, wins at Warwick Farm on Wednesday. NeverFails won his first race at the December 7 meeting. He is a son of Yarraman Park stud flyer Hellbent. The horse has a C.V and is expected to build it in Wednesday's ATC Hyland Race Colours Handicap (1100m). His rivals include former crack Kiwi two-year-old Sneaky Shark. Sney Shark's final start in New Zealand was his lucrative second in the Karaka Millions 2YO Classic at Ellerslie in January 2021.
