James and Gay Eustace were celebrating their son David's Melbourne Cup win with a glass of champagne at 5 am. Harry Eusace was also up and watching the race. He is the trainer's brother. Harry took over the licence in Newmarket from his father last year. His first win was at Royal Ascot with Latin Lover. David won't be coming back for Christmas this year, but he will be back in the next 48 hours. The family is hoping to invite him for a party. They are very proud of him. It's been an amazing year for him and his team. Hitotsu won the Australian Guineas this season.
