Week 10: Group of Five Best Bets
Last week I went 2-3, which is good for my Group of Five best bets record. I'm still chasing a 5-0 week, but I'd like to finish the season strong.
Tulsa is 3-5 this season and Tulane is 7-1. Tulsa is fighting for a bowl game. The Golden Hurricane lost to Wyoming by three, Ole Miss by eight, Cincinnati by 10 and SMU by 11.
Temple is a home underdog against South Florida. The teams have a combined record of 3-13. The Action Network has sharp action on Temple.
Georgia Southern is favored by 4 points against South Alabama. Georgia Southern has won over Nebraska and JMU and lost to JUMA by an average of 8.7 points per game.
Neither team's offense is impressive. New Mexico has scored 20 points in one game and Utah State 31 in last two league games.
JMU is 5-1 with a road win at App State when quarterback Todd Centeio plays. JMU's defense excels at stopping the run. Louisville is riding high after a blowout win over Wake Forest and they face Clemson next week.
