When could Max Verstappen win the F1 title? Earliest possibility, most realistic race and prediction

Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc were engaged in thrilling tussles for the lead in the opening three races of the 2022 Formula One season. LeClerc won the race in Melbourne. Ver stappens has won 11 of 16 races so far this season and is on course to win his second successive title.

Max Verstappen is 116 points clear of Charles Leclerc in the F1 championship. The final six races of the season are in Asia and the Americas.

Max Verstappen can win the title in the next race in Singapore. He would need to win and take 26 points. Leclerc would have to finish eighth or lower, and Sergio Perez would finish fifth or below. Ver stappens would outscore Le Clerc by 22 points, Perez by 13, George Russell by four points and Russell would be fourth.

Leclerc can still delay Verstappen's crowning moment if he is able to stitch together some race wins. Even if Lecler wins all six races, he would still come up short of Ver stappens. If Le Clerc wins three races on the spin and Ver Stappans takes two second places and one third, the gap would be 92 points.

Verstappen is the overwhelming favourite to win both of the next two races. He will take 50 points for the victories and two more for fastest laps. Suzuka seems the most likely circuit where he will be crowned champion for a second time.
