Matt Fitzpatrick is the defending champion after finishing one shot clear of Scottie Scheffler and Will Zalatoris in last year’s tournament and the Englishman took home more than €3,000,000 in prize money. Woof!

Scottie Scheffler is the favourite for the US Open as the world number one seeks a second major championship victory after landing last year’s US Masters at Augusta.

The 26-year-old has won two tournaments on the PGA Tour in 2023 and was tied for second at last month’s USPGA Championship.

Jon Rahm is next in the betting as the world number two bids to win a second major championship of the season following success at the US Masters in April.

The Spaniard has been in hot form in 2023 with a further three tournament successes on the PGA Tour.

LIV defector BrooksKoepka can also be found towards the top of the outright market after victory in the second major of the year, the USPGA Championship at Oak Hill last month.

The 33-year-old, who won the US Open in 2017 and 2018, is bang in form.
