Yankees’ YES Network ditching Cameron Maybin?

YES Network has fired retired MLB outfielder Cameron Maybin. Carlos Beltran will appear in studio instead of during games. YES Network is interested in Derek Jeter joining the team in some form. Omar Minaya will join the Yankees front office as a senior advisor to baseball operations.

Minaya joins the Yankees with almost four decades of front office experience. He spent the last year as an amateur scouting consultant for Major League Baseball. Minaya also spent six seasons with the New York Mets, serving as a Special Assistant to the General Manager from 2017-20 and a Mets Ambassador from 2020-22.
