2022 Wyndham Championship expert golf picks and longshot predictions

The Wyndham Championship is taking place at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C. this week. The winner has posted -21 or -22 in four of the last five years. It's a beatable course and one of few that doesn't play to bombers. Jim Herman won the event as a 600/1 long shot in 2020.

Chesson Hadley finished 10th at the 3M Open and then missed the cut at last week's Rocket Mortgage Classic in Detroit. Hadly had a hot streak that included three top-10 finishes and a fifth-place showing at Travelers.

Mackenzie Hughes is coming into the Wyndham Championship off of three consecutive missed cuts. He is not a great driver and his approach play is hit or miss, but he has a magical short game and is one of the best putters in the world.

Doc Redman is a local favourite at Wyndham Championship. He's missed the cut in five of his last seven tournaments. Red man finished T21 at Barbasol and T57 at Rocket Mortgage.
