With the season just around the corner, now is the time for gamblers to look at college football futures bets.
Here are the 2023 Penn State odds as well as some different betting options.
2023 Penn State win total prop: Over 9.5 wins (-145 or better)
At the moment, Penn State’s lines for next year’s win total is set at Over 9.5 (-145)/Under 9.5 (+120). They are projected to be a top team led by sophomore five-star quarterback Drew Allar.
Penn State enters this season with some of the highest expectations the program has had in years.
With lots of returners on defense, especially in the linebacker group, and a deadly offensive attack led by Allar, Penn State will be a difficult matchup for anyone.
Hitting the Over on this line means that Penn State will need to win at least one game against Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State or Ohio State. That should not be too big of an ask for this team.
While the return isn’t spectacular, Penn State won 11 games last season and it’s difficult to see them taking that much of a step backwards.

At +2500, Penn State is relatively close to the top of the list of favorites to win next season’s College Football Playoff.
After finishing 11-2 last season and having lots of young key players that should only improve, there’s plenty of reason for excitement around this team.
At 25-1, there is some value in betting on Penn State to win the National Championship.
They’re sure to face some tough challenges during their conference play with games against other top contenders like Ohio State and Michigan, but these battles should let them test their stuff against the best of the best.
If five-star Allar can settle in quickly, Penn State will be near the top of the AP rankings throughout the whole season and be a legitimate contender to win it all in January.
