The 49ers destroyed the Dallas Cowboys in what was thought to be their first test of the season. They won 42-10 in Week 5 while forcing four turnovers, and the 49ers outgained the Cowboys 421-197. San Francisco has now scored 30-plus points in every game during 2023.

Meanwhile, the bye week doesn’t look like it was enough to get Deshaun Watson back on the field for the Browns, as PJ Walker is expected to start in his place. The Browns lost 28-3 the last time Watson missed a start.

The conditions are expected to be a problem, with gusty winds and heavy rain forecasted for Cleveland on Sunday. That could make scoring a challenge, but we still see no reason why the 49ers won’t blow out the Browns.

The 49ers are coming off a massive victory over the Cowboys, so this could be a prime letdown spot. However, they've earned an 18-plus-point victory in four of their five games. San Francisco has also held four of its opponents to 16 points or fewer while scoring at least 30 in every contest.

The Browns' defense has been great, too. They’re allowing just 220.3 yards per game. But it won’t matter how good that unit plays in Week 7. The team surrendered 28 points to the Baltimore Ravens despite allowing just 296 yards. Without Watson, the offense kept putting the defense in bad positions, as two touchdown drives were 38 yards or fewer.

Walker has logged more experience than Dorian Thompson-Robinson, but not by much. The 49ers’ defense isn’t going to be challenged, and rainy weather is no problem for the team's offense since it leans on Christian McCaffrey.

Four of the five best sportsbooks are offering this spread at -9.5, with only DraftKings showing -10. While the price is slightly better for that number, it’s not different enough to take the half-point and the key number.
