Browns vs. Colts NFL Player Props, Odds

Dive deep in Week 7 with these Cleveland Browns vs. Indianapolis Colts NFL player props for Week 7 based on the best NFL odds.

Injuries have marred both of these team's seasons.

Indianapolis Colts starting quarterback Anthony Richardson is out for the season. Backup Garner Minshew will start this week in his place.

Cleveland Browns starting quarterback Deshaun Watson has missed the team's last two games with a shoulder injury and is questionable for Sunday. The Browns knocked the San Francisco 49ers off the unbeaten list last week behind backup quarterback P.J. Walker. If Watson is unable to suit up again, Cleveland may have to rely on Walker or fellow backup Dorian Thompson-Robinson again this week.

Here are our best Browns vs. Colts NFL player props for Week 7 (odds via our best NFL betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Browns vs. Colts NFL player props: Week 7

Gardner Minshew Under 6.5 rushing yards (-115 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Minshew has four meaningful appearances under center for the Colts this season, accruing just eight total rushing yards. His longest run in all of them has been two yards, which signals his attempt to escape the pocket instead of a tuck and run.

Cleveland has excelled at keeping the quarterback near the line of scrimmage allowing just 6.8 rushing yards on average to the position. Of course, that number is slightly skewed by the 35 yards that Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson gained in Week 5. Outside of that, only 49ers signal-caller Brock Purdy reached this total when he ran for 7 yards in Week 6 against the Browns.

This number is as high as -127 at some of the best sports betting apps, with other books, including DraftKings and BetMGM, offering it at -125.

Longest field goal Over 47.5 Yards (-110 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cleveland has attempted an average of 2.8 field goals per game, the sixth most in the league. Kicker Dustin Hopkins has connected on 12 of his 14 attempts this season. Of those, four have come from 50 yards or beyond. On top of that, he has also converted two more of at least 48 yards. Hopkins has cashed this prop in each of his last four games.

Indianapolis kicker Matt Gay has converted 11 of his 12 field goal attempts this year and is a perfect 5-of-5 from at least 50 yards. The Colts have been forced to settle for a field goal on five drives over the last two games with Minshew under center and now face a Cleveland defense that only allows 1.8 touchdowns per game to their opponents. Gay may end up supplying most of the points for Indianapolis this week.

Both teams to complete first pass attempts (+112 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Watson is completing 63.1% of his passes this season. Even if he is not cleared to play in this game, both of his backups have connected on their first pass attempts in his absence. Defensively, the Browns have allowed the opposing quarterback to successfully find their intended target in each of their last three games.

The Colts have completed their first pass attempt of the game in their last two contests. Both Minshew and Richardson started their game with a short pass to wide receiver Josh Downs. Indianapolis has allowed their opponents to complete their first pass of the game in their last five matchups.
