College Football Week 9 Odds, Picks & Predictions: Under-the-Radar Plays (2022)

Week 8 was another winning week for College Football. UAB lost by the hook. Week 9 will begin with a couple of weekday games.

Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns at Southern Miss Golden Eagles is a Thursday night game. Both teams are 4-3 and need a win to get closer to bowl eligibility. Southern Mississippi's defense is the difference in this game, while Louisiana's offense ranks outside the top 75 in both rushing and passing.

East Carolina Pirates are out of American Conference play and they travel to Provo to play BYU. The Cougars have lost three straight games and are coming off a 41-14 loss at Liberty. ECU's offense is led by Keaton Mitchell and Holton Ahlers. BYU's defense is ranked 108th in scoring defense and 117th on run defense.

Arizona State Sun Devils are laying nearly two touchdowns at Colorado Buffaloes. The Buffs followed up their resounding upset victory over Cal as 15-point dogs with a 33- point loss at Oregon State. Arizona State is statistically better in every major category except for pass defense. They have covered three straight and three of four since firing coach Herm Edwards.
