Commanders vs. Falcons NFL Player Props, Odds

The Washington Commanders travel south to Mercedes-Benz Stadium to face the Atlanta Falcons, and one our top Commanders vs. Falcons NFL player props centers on running back Brian Robinson Jr. All our NFL picks are based on the NFL odds from our best sports betting apps.

Following a strong 2-0 start, the Washington Commanders have faced a string of three consecutive losses. Their latest defeat came last Thursday night at home against the Chicago Bears. Despite the team's challenges, QB Sam Howell had a remarkable performance from a prop perspective, completing 37 of 51 passes for 388 yards.

The Atlanta Falcons ended a two-game losing streak with a 21-19 win over the Houston Texans in Week 5, and QB Desmond Ridder tossed for over 300 yards for the first time. Falcons running back Bijan Robinson also found the end zone for the first time since Week 1, as he continues to build his Offensive Rookie of the Year case.

To accompany our NFL predictions for Week 6 and NFL best bets for Week 6, here are our best Commanders vs. Falcons NFL player props for Week 6, and don't miss our Bijan Robinson player props (odds via our best NFL betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Commanders vs. Falcons NFL player props: Week 6

Brian Robinson Jr. anytime touchdown (+127 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐

Robinson went into halftime of last week’s game with six carries for 10 yards. He ended the game with the exact same stat line. With his team trailing the entire game, Robinson was never involved in the game plan for what should have been a great matchup for him.

Robinson has three rushing touchdowns this season, but he was an inch away from scoring his fourth against the Philadelphia Eagles two weeks ago. He’s about to face a defense that has allowed just one rushing touchdown all season. However, the Falcons have still given up plenty of points, they’ve just done so through the air.

The Commanders have five rushing touchdowns this season. When they get in the red zone, they run the ball and Robinson is the guy who gets those touches. Shop around. This is listed as low as +100. The value isn’t there at that price.

Desmond Ridder Under 204.5 passing yards (-110 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ridder is fresh off a career day against the Texans. The defensive plan for Houston was to stop Bijan Robinson and while the Texans did that, they gave Ridder more opportunities to throw the ball.

However, we don’t expect the same type of success this week. Ridder has thrown for more than 204 yards just twice this season. Last week, he threw the ball 37 times which led to the highest single-game yardage total of his career. However, his attempts do not always correlate to yards, as his career-high of 38 passing attempts resulted in just 201 yards in Week 3. A lot of this has to do with the fact that Ridder's averaging a modest 10.5 yards per completion this season.

The Commanders give up 133.6 rushing yards per game. We expect Robinson to have a huge bounce-back game, as the Falcons get back to doing what they do best: running the football.

Jahan Dotson Over 30.5 receiving yards (-110 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐

Dotson has yet to have a great game this season. He’s gone for 30 or fewer yards in four of his five games, and his season-high in receiving yards in just 40. However, if he keeps seeing the same target share, he’s bound to have a breakout performance.

He has the second-most targets on the team with 30. The ball has been thrown his way at least five times in all but one of his games. Two weeks ago against the Eagles, he received nine targets.

With this many targets, Dotson is still proving to be one of Howell’s favorite weapons, the two just haven’t been able to connect. Dotson is averaging 8.2 yards per catch. This means he really just needs four catches to top this line. Based on the amount of targets he’s been getting, we like his odds.
