Despite Early Troubles, 49ers Offense Poised to Finish the Season Strong

The 49ers offense has struggled to find consistency this season. Last season the team was 3-5 after 8 games. This season they are 4-4 and hovering around the middle of the pack. The reason for the inconsistency can be attributed to the fact that the head coach had to establish two offenses. Trey Lance's addition last year and Jimmy Garoppolo's injury this year have contributed to this. The team has been shuffling through two offensive systems this time. It is difficult to keep up with the new offensive line pieces. They were not installed throughout the preseason.

The San Francisco 49ers beat the Los Angeles Rams 31-14 on Sunday. It was the eighth straight win for the 49er's over Rams. Rams had a 14-10 lead at half-time but couldn't hold on. 49erns defense came to the rescue in the second half and outscored Rams 21-0.

The San Francisco 49ers lost 44-23 to the Kansas City Chiefs. The offense scored just 23 points. Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo received a C grade for his performance.

Christian McCaffrey is a versatile running back. Head coach Kyle Shanahan doesn't want to change the game plan because of him. The 49ers don't have any running backs. They get the ball in both the run and the pass game.
