Detroit Tigers draft talk: Chase Dollander worth considering at no.3
The Detroit Tigers were going to pick sixth in the inaugural MLB Draft Lottery, but they jumped up to third overall. They will pick Chase Dollander at third. Doller is 21 years old and has spent the last two seasons at the collegiate level. He played prep ball in Georgia and at Georgia Southern University. After his freshman season, he joined Tony Vitello's Tennessee Volunteers. Last summer, Dolland pitched to a 10-0 record, a 2.39 ERA, and a 0.80 WHIP. He punched out 64 opposing hitters over 49 innings pitched. Wyatt Langford was slated to be a Tigers pick at sixth before the Lotteries changed things.
