MLB mock draft 2023: Round 1 predictions, top prospects in 2023 MLB Draft

Pittsburgh Pirates will draft LSU outfielder Dylan Crews. Crew has 40 home runs in 495 at-bats and a 1.135 OPS. He has above-average speed and high-end arm strength in right field.

Chase Dollander is a 6-foot-3 right-handed pitcher from Tennessee. He has a fastball that can reach 99 mph and a curveball and slider that are both in the mid-90s. Doller would be an excellent addition for the Washington Nationals.

Jacob Gonzalez is one of the best prospects in the 2023 MLB Draft. He is a shortstop who played for Ole Miss. His college stats: .316/.424/.560, .984 OPS 30 home runs in 504 ABs.

Wyatt Langford is an outfielder from Florida. He hit 27 home runs in 256 at-bats last season. Langfors is also an above-average speed and has good instincts and timing.

Oakland Athletics will draft Vanderbilt outfielder Enrique Bradfield at No. 6 in the 2023 MLB Draft. Bradfied hit nine home runs in his first 497 ABs in college, but he stole 93 bases and had a stellar .327/.433/.456 slash line.

Max Clark is an outfielder at Franklin High School in Indiana. He is committed to Vanderbilt. The Cincinnati Reds are interested in him.

Rhett Lowder is a starting pitcher at Wake Forest. He has three MLB-caliber pitches and above-average command. His stats (2022): 3,08 ERA, 105/26, 1.18 WHIP, 8.2 H/9, 9.5 K/ 9 in 99.1 IP.

Jacob Wilson, son of the former All-Star infielder, is drafted by the Colorado Rockies. Jacob struck out in only 2.5% of his plate appearances this past season.
