It’s F1 under the lights again this weekend, as the series makes its yearly visit to Singapore, kicking off the second Asian leg of the schedule. Check out the Singapore Grand Prix predictions and odds for this weekend.

F1 Singapore GP top predictions and odds

From one of the fastest tracks in the schedule to one of the slowest. After Monza, which closed off the European part of the schedule, F1 heads across the Pacific to the streets of Marina Bay in Singapore. Red Bull struggled on Friday, as the Singapore circuit doesn’t rely as much on downforce as the other tracks, with mechanical grip being far more important. Red Bull won’t be able to rely on its biggest strength this weekend, but will it be enough to stop the Austrain team?

Max Verstappen to win @ 4/7 (1.57)

Verstappen’s poor run on Friday, which saw him down in eighth place, have dropped his odds slightly. These are probably some of the longest odds he will see this year, and the bet offers some very good value.

While Ferrari dominated on Friday, there is reason to believe that Verstappen could turn the tables on Sunday. The two-time champion set the fastest time on mediums on race trim. Ferrari’s single lap pace has been impressive, but the Scuderia has struggled to repeat that on Sundays. Singapore could see more of the same, giving Verstappen a chance to score his first win at the Marina Bay circuit.

Ferrari double podium finish @ 11/2 (6.5)

We are going for the home-run here. While Verstappen should still be considered the favorite to win until proven otherwise, Ferrari has looked good enough to warrant some consideration for a potential double podium.

Verstappen is in his own league right now, but Perez’s performance is a lot more down to Earth. Ferrari was relatively close to Red Bull’s race pace during Friday’s full fuel runs. If both cars manage to start ahead of the Red Bulls on Sunday, then Ferrari would be well-positioned for a double podium. Overtaking is extremely difficult around the Marina Bay circuit, and the SF23 has enough in the tank to keep at least one of the Red Bull drivers behind.

Rain is always a threat in Singapore, and it’s no different this weekend. There is a 40% chance of rain on Saturday, and a 50% chance of rain on Grand Prix Sunday. Last year’s GP ran in the wet on Saturday and Sunday, so we could be on for a repeat.
