F1 Belgian GP Sprint Race Top Betting Predictions

So far, Red Bull has also dominated the sprint races. Sergio Perez won in Azerbaijan on the way to sweep both races, while Max Verstappen did the same on his way to a complete weekend sweep in Austria. The Dutchman dominated the action on Friday, setting the fastest lap in qualifying by over eight tenths. Verstappen will pick up a five-place grid penalty for the Grand Prix, but that won’t apply to the sprint race.

Ferrari Double Top 6

It’s been a good weekend for Ferrari, with Leclerc inhereting pole for the Grand Prix, while Sainz Jr. will line up fourth. By the looks of it, the Scuderia has the second-fastest car in Spa, behind Red Bull.

Ferrari’s performance over a full stint is still a bit of a question mark, but the short sprint distance combined with the potential wet track could provide the Italian team with a boost for Saturday. A double top 6 for Leclerc and Sainz is definitely in the cards for the sprint. The pace is there, although anything more than that would be a bit of a stretch.

Perez Podium Finish

Perez had his best qualifying since Miami, securing a front row start alongside Leclerc for Sunday. The Mexican driver was still a long way off Verstappen’s pace, but he did show some improvement.

Red Bull will likely have the superior race pace compared to Ferrari, which would, in theory, put Perez in contention for a podium finish. Even if Ferrari shows some pace promising pace in the shootout, trust the Red Bull duo to come through for a double top 3.

F1 Belgian GP Sprint Race Weather Condition

There is a significant chance of rain for the shootout early in the day. For the sprint, that’s up in the air. The forecast has a “decreasing chance of rain” in the afternoon, but the potential of a shower before the start hasn’t been crossed out either. In classic Spa fashion, we won’t really know it before the lights go out for the start.
