Perez had his best qualifying since Miami, securing a front row start alongside Leclerc for Sunday. The Mexican driver was still a long way off Verstappen’s pace, but he did show some improvement.

Red Bull will likely have the superior race pace compared to Ferrari, which would, in theory, put Perez in contention for a podium finish. Even if Ferrari shows some pace promising pace in the shootout, trust the Red Bull duo to come through for a double top 3.
