Fantasy Basketball Picks Today: Top DraftKings NBA DFS Targets, Values for November 27

We have a five-game slate for tonight. Water is wet and LeBron James ($9,700) is questionable. So are Jordan Poole ($6,800), Lauri Markkanen ($8,500) and Jordan Clarkson ($7,400). Keep track of all pertinent updates at DK Live. In terms of back-to-backs, DEN and POR played last night. None of the teams play tomorrow night.

DraftKings Sportsbook has two games with a total of at least 235 - POR/IND (240) and WAS/DET (236). The lowest total is the DEN/LAC game at 220.5. There is one double-digit favorite - IND -13 over POR. There are no games within 2 points, although DET is 2.5 favorites over WAS. There is one home dog - UTA.

Guard

Stud

Cade Cunningham, Detroit Pistonsvs. Washington Wizards ($8,300) – I did think about going with either Tyrese Haliburton ($11,000) or Malcolm Brogdon ($7,900), as that game has the highest total on the slate, but the 13-point spread scares me and both may not see their full allotment of playing time. If so, it would be difficult for either to pay off their salaries.

I’m fine going with Cunningham regardless. Washington is 2nd in pace and dead-last in defensive efficiency while Detroit is 8th in pace and 23rd in defensive efficiency. There should be plenty of fantasy goodies in this one as well. Cunningham garners a usage rate over 30% and played 38 minutes in each of the last two contests. On the season, he’s played at least 38 minutes eight times.

Not only is the team matchup a good one, but the positional one is favorable as well. Washington has boosted the FPPM to point guards by 12.21%, the third-highest in the league.

Other Options - Paul George ($8,800), James Harden ($7,800), D’Angelo Russell ($6,300), Austin Reaves ($6,200)

Value

Jaden Ivey, Detroit Pistons vs. Washington Wizards ($5,400) – After coming off the bench for most of the season, Ivey has started the last three games and played 28, 30 and 32 minutes, putting up 18.75, 27 and 35 DKFP, respectively. I already mentioned how fantasy-friendly this game could be in the Cunningham section above. Positionally, Ivey also has a good matchup as Washington has boosted the FPPM to shooting guards by 12.47%, the second-highest in the league.

Other Options - Reggie Jackson ($5,800), Bruce Brown ($5,600)

Forward

Stud

LeBron James, Los Angeles Lakers at Philadelphia 76ers ($9,700) – James has the highest floor/ceiling combo at the position on this slate. He’s averaging 1.47 FP/Min and can stuff the stat sheet on any given night. While he only has one triple-double on the season, that is always in play as well. Outside of blowouts, James plays in the 35-minute range and garners a usage rate in the same vicinity. Over the last six games, he’s gone for 45, 48.25, 39.75, 62.5, 59.75 and 70 DKFP.

Other Options - Paul George ($8,800), Kyle Kuzma ($8,600) if Poole is out, Austin Reaves ($6,200)

Value

Bruce Brown, Indiana Pacers vs. Portland Trail Blazers ($5,600) – I don’t like Brown’s price and potential upside, but he is one I like the most below $6,000. A ringing endorsement, huh? Hopefully, some value opens up later in the day. Brown has been consistent. Over the last seven games, he’s gone for at least 20 DKFP in all with a high of 38.3. He is a low-usage player, which is never great, but he does chip in a little something something in every statistical category.

Center

Studs

Joel Embiid, Philadelphia 76ers vs. Los Angeles Lakers ($11,700) – Normally, this spot is reserved for Nikola Jokic ($12,800), as he basically triple-doubles every night and makes a mockery of the fantasy hoops landscape. He averages a ridiculous 1.91 FP/Min. That said, he’s the most expensive player on the slate by a wide margin, and I think Embiid could match or exceed his production at $1,100 cheaper. Embiid is no slouch at 1.76 FP/Min and he’s gone for 71.75, 68.75 and 64 DKFP in the last three games. On the season, Embiid has a high of 81.25.

Other Options - Anthony Davis ($9,800), Jalen Duren ($6,700)

Value

Kelly Olynyk, Utah Jazz vs. New Orleans Pelicans ($4,900) – This recommendation partly depends on the status of Lauri Markkanen. If he’s out, then Olynyk could see a few more minutes. That said, Olynyk is still going to play in the low 20s as Walker Kessler ($5,500) is still being ramped back up. Olynyk has a nice, well-rounded game while his ability to pass and space the floor from the front-court position is valuable. Olynyk has gone for at least 30 DKFP five times this season, so there is an upside.

Other Options - Daniel Gafford ($5,700), Walker Kessler ($5,500), Ivica Zubac ($5,300)
