Food City Dirt Race 2022 Odds & Predictions For NASCAR At Bristol

Last year's dirt race at Bristol Motor Speedway was a disaster for drivers and fans. Joey Logano won the race. The event was moved to Sunday night to avoid glare and prevent the surface from drying out too quickly. Kyle Larson is the favorite in the 2022 edition of Bristol’s dirtrace. He finished 29th and 34th last season.

Larson and Bell are favourites for the 2022 Food City Dirt Race at Bristol. Larson has won two of the past three Chili Bowl Nationals and the 2016 Truck race on Eldora Speedway’s dirt surface. Bell has also won everything on dirt: World of Outlaws, super late models, three straight Chili Bids from 2017-19, and 26 dirt races in 2014 alone. Last year's Dirt Racing at the Bristol event was disappointing for both Logano and Truex. Kyle Busch and Kyle Larson finished 17th and 16th respectively in the Dirt race last year.

Christopher Bell finished second in the Chili Bowl Nationals earlier this year. Bell has been running well recently, with a third-place run at Circuit of the Americas and a sixth-placed finish at Richmond.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. finished second behind Logano last year at Bristol. He is having a miserable season with an average finish of 28th over his last six starts.

Austin Dillon finished second at Martinsville last weekend. He won the inaugural Truck race at Eldora and competes in dirt late models coming up.

Food City Dirt Race takes place on Sunday, April 17 at 7 p.m. ET at Bristol Motor Speedway.
