For the Open de France, Le Golf National will be playing 7,247 yards long this week, it’s a stunning Par 71 Parkland course where Greens in Regulation figures will be pivotal so accurate play will be key to success on Sunday afternoon in France.
Defending Open de France champion Guido Migliozzi returns to seek another victory, the Italian miraculously carded a final round 62 last year to beat Rasmus Hojgaard by one shot. His winning scorecard read 268, -16.

For my first & main tip at Le Golf National, the 2018 Ryder Cup venue, I’m going to strongly recommend Rasmus Hojgaard 35/1 EW Boylesports 1-8 places. The young Dane at only 22 years old has already shown us the talent he possesses & last year's runner-up around here must still be scratching his head as to how Guido Migliozzi pulled that tremendous final-round effort out of the bag.

Hojgaard has another four Top 20 finishes this year with two of those efforts inside the Top 10 & I just have a feeling that last year's runner-up has unfinished business at Le Golf National & will come out victorious at this year’s edition.

For my NB pick to win the Open de France I’m going to point you all in the direction of Min Woo Lee 12/1 EW William Hill 1-8 places. I tipped the talented 25-year-old last week at the BMW PGA Championship & although we never saw any returns, I’m not giving up on the young Aussie quite just yet.

With most of the big guns preparing for the Ryder Cup next week in Rome this could be the perfect opportunity for Min Woo Lee to show his class & bag his first W of the year.
Yannik Paul 28/1 EW William Hill 1-8 places
For my final selection & last before the Ryder Cup, I’m going to suggest Yannik Paul 28/1 EW William Hill 1-8 places. The 29-year-old from Frankfurt in Germany has been popping up on my radar throughout the year & very rarely misses a cut.
I just have a feeling that the door could be wide open for Yannik this week at Le Golf National & with two runner-up spots this year including another four Top 10 finishes, it could be time for Yannik Paul to double up after scooping the Mallorca Open just over 10 months ago.
He’s ranked 13th on the DP World Tour for Stroke Average & 9th for Greens in Regulation, those are the stats that will make all the difference this week just outside Paris so if he produces those figures then for sure he’ll be right up there challenging for the Open de France title in the sunshine on Sunday afternoon. Just one last thing, Yannik Paul finished inside the Top 10 at this event last year on the same track, T8th to be exact so that should help him even more this time around.
