1 Halberg has gate speed and good run last start. Tectonic form has tapered off but better draw to contend with here. Whats Wanted had good last starts and track and distance will suit. Monarch Prince had a rough first four hopes against weaker opposition last time. Cappaha has good gatespeed but up in grade for this race. Maxwell Edison might head forward early but some of the other horses look better. Southern Diamond has a big motor and is tricky from the draw.

Gold Bullion won the previous race.

1 Secret Delight should get a good run from the draw. Millwood Nike should be too good from this draw, Micaitlen Denario looks outclassed, Aardiebytheseaside is well-known, Forever MeGate might head forward, Kahlua Flybye has run some nice races in similar fields, Sweet Diamond Scratched is prepared to risk, Second Line is leaving for now, Treacherous Gall is a long shot.

Millwood Nike has the best draw and has won from the front and from back.

Hot To Trot, Con Grazia Love, Wy Fi, Mixed Faith, Hidden Talent, Mystic Max, Latrell, Masterly, Second Line, Nazareth, Double Delight, El Conqueror, and Master Class are the horses in the race. Masterclass was scratched. The race is a Grand Prix day special. The winner will be announced at the end of the day.

The top trotting fillies are going to meet the boys off level marks.

1 Sherlock is the favourite for the race. Rakamurph was not very good last start. Vinke B is out of form. Carrera Rapido is a possible first four chance. Final Collect has been running better than the form suggests. Alta Meteor is racing well in similar grade. Da Vinci is an average runner. Watermelon sugar is risky. Sinbad needs luck.

Sherlock has the best of the draws. Don't Stop Dreaming will come looking mid race.

There is a big field for the second race of the day. Mavis Jones has a good draw but looks outclassed. The Ivy League is out of form but has good form. Shez Bella travelled a long way for this race. Torvi travelled up in grade and is green. Walkinonsunshine won last start but there is big rise in class. Show No Fear is going to head forward early. High Energy Unbeaten should go close to winning this.

High Energy looks the best bet of the day.

Sporty Charlie, Beach Ball, Magic Four, Republican Party, Franco Indie, Sand Wave, Wheels Of Fortune, Akuta, Cyrus, Second Line, Foveaux Gambler, Nicholas Cage and Herbie are the horses to watch. Grand Prix day special is on Sunday.

There is a $175,000 race at IRT New Zealand OAKS (MOBILE PACE) (Gr1) today. True Fantasy is the favourite. Fernleigh Blackbird, Chambray, Joes Rock, Artisan, A Bettor You, Lady Of The Light, Second Line, Anna Love, Obsession, Classie Linc, Snow Robyn and Coachella are the other horses in the race.

True Fantasy looks hard to beat from the draw.

Grand Prix day special features East West Fencming Summer Cup Free-for-all (MOBILE PACE) (Gr3) $30,000, 4YO & OLDER FFA, 1980m. Evangalist, Got You Covered, Heza Sport, Cranbourne, Henry Hubert, B D Joe, Self Assured, Spankem, Krug and Self-Assured are the favourites.
