The first major of the season is rapidly approaching as the 2023 Masters takes place April 6-9 at Augusta National Golf Club. One stunning prediction from McDonald: He is fading Viktor Hovland, even though the Norwegian recently tied for third at the Players Championship. The 25-year-old began the month of March in solid fashion with back-to-back top-10 finishes at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and Players Championship.

Hovland was 31st at the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play, but has finished no better than 21st in five of his last seven majors. He has gone under par only twice in his last eight rounds at the Masters and has failed to break 70 in his past 12 rounds at Augusta National.
