ANDREW’S FREE PICK

I’ll probably stay with the Mets. Senga is looking pretty good lately. Over his last three starts combined he’s got four earned runs on 11 hits and seven walks in 20.2 total innings. Senga is just 1-1 in that time, though. As for Keuchel, he had a couple of good starts going but stumbled in his last outing with 3.1 innings and five earned. On Wednesday New York had the game in hand most of the way until the pitching broke down late. The offense didn’t come through very well either, which is a bit different than usual lately; New York has six or more runs in four of their last six games. I like the Mets to bounce back and play better in this opener.
