Rockies 2023 MLB Draft Lottery odds and options
The first MLB Draft Lottery will be held on Sunday at the Winter Meetings in San Diego. Colorado has a 3.9% chance of the No. 1 overall selection in the 2023 MLB draft. The highest Colorado picked in its 30-year history is second, when it chose Greg Reynolds out of Stanford University in 2006.
Rockies are playing the lottery on Sunday. They could get the No. 1 overall pick. The organization has historically preferred college pitchers. Dylan Crews, Wyatt Langford, Jacob Gonzalez and Jacob Wilson are interesting outfielders. High school prospects are also interesting. They include outfielder Max Clark, outfielder Walker Jenkins, two-way player Blake Mitchell and third baseman Aidan Miller. It's possible that the Rockies could pick one of them. If so, they would be the first pick in the 2023 MLB Draft. Colorado will pick first overall. Their draft order will be announced on June 25th.
