Mohamed Salah LIKELY to quit Liverpool this week and move to Saudi Arabia, Premier League legend sensationally claims

MOHAMED SALAH is likely to leave Liverpool this week, according to reports.

The winger has been heavily linked with a move to Saudi Arabia ahead of Friday's transfer deadline day.

Al-Ittihad tabled a five-year deal worth around £100million-a-year, as well as a private jet or unlimited plane tickets for his family and the chance to become an ambassador for tourism in Saudi Arabia.

Salah, 31, informed Liverpool he wanted to make the switch amid a £79m bid from the Saudi giants.

And according to Jan Aage Fjortoft it is now likely Salah will complete a transfer.

If a deal is agreed Salah will become the highest-paid star in world football - with a salary that surpasses that of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Egyptian could even acquire shares in Al-Ittihad - similar to the terms Lionel Messi agreed when he joined Inter Miami this summer.

But Liverpool have no plans to sell the superstar as he remains a key part of their plans this season, while his agent has insisted he's committed to Anfield.

However the Reds have prepared for Salah's possible exit by targeting former Chelsea star Joao Felix.

The forward could be available for £60m but he is also being chased by Barcelona and Al-Hilal.

Liverpool are still exploring ways to improve their squad and could complete deals for Bayern Munich star Ryan Gravenberch and Crystal Palace midfielder Cheick Doucoure in the final days of the transfer window.
