NASCAR Xfinity Series: Alsco Uniforms 300 Betting Prediction

After two rounds of the NASCAR Xfinity Series, we already see a crop of contenders rising to the top as potential playoff participants fighting for the Xfinity Series Championship.

The third round of the Xfinity Series is the first of two annual races at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway this season, with last week’s NASCAR Cup Series and Xfinity Series race winners listed as the betting favorites heading into the weekend.

We’ll prepare you for the NASCAR Xfinity race this weekend in Vegas by reviewing the odds and performances and making our NASCAR Alsco Uniforms 300 prediction.

NASCAR Xfinity Race: Alsco Uniforms 300 Odds

Before making our NASCAR Alsco Uniforms 300 prediction, we must review the NASCAR odds.

Here are our top eight favorites from the listed field to win from the Alsco Unifroms 300 odds:

The majority of the field is listed at +2000 or higher and will not factor into our NASCAR Alsco Uniforms 300 prediction.

The major takeaway from these NASCAR odds is that two Cup Series regulars are among the oddsmakers’ favorites. Coincidentally, two of the betting favorites won the races on last weekend’s NASCAR schedule in Fontana.

NASCAR Xfinity Series Alsco Uniforms 300 Previous Results

NASCAR has run Xfinity series races at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway every season since 1997, moving to two races (a Spring and Fall race) in 2018.

Three drivers who will line up and race on Saturday have won in Las Vegas. However, only one driver who has won at Vegas

Kyle Busch will be driving the number 10 car for Kaulig Racing-Chevrolet and has two Xfinity Series wins in Las Vegas (2016, 2019), including a Spring win in Vegas in 2019.

Cup series regular Tyler Reddick will be making his second Xfinity Series start in 2023 in Las Vegas. Reddick won the Fall edition of the Vegas races in 2019.

Josh Berry of JR Motorsports-Chevrolet has won consecutive Las Vegas Motor Speedway races. However, both wins were Spring editions of 2021 and 2022. Berry’s success at Vegas, in general, ranks Berry higher as a potential winner than most drivers in the field.

NASCAR Xfinity Series Alsco Uniforms 300 Analysis

Austin Hill

Austin Hill, the current points leader in the NASCAR standings, is listed at +2000 but should have better odds as the favorite. Hill followed up an excellent race-winning performance at Daytona with a sixth-place finish at Fontana.

We’ll take Hill to finish in the top ten and potentially win in Vegas as a part of his path to an Xfinity Series playoff spot.

John H. Nemechek

John H. Nemechek should be one of the drivers you think about taking to win the Alsco Uniforms 300. Nemechek finished second at Daytona and won last weekend at Fontana. With that kind of form, you have to strongly consider Nemechek as the favorite to win this weekend.

Kyle Busch

Kyle Busch won his first Cup Series race for Richard Childress Racing-Chevrolet parking his ride on Victory Lane and winning the Cup Series Pala Casino 400 last weekend at Fontana. Busch is the betting favorite due in part to this win and his status as a Cup Series regular and fan favorite.

Tyler Reddick

Tyler Reddick, who won the Spring 2019 Las Vegas race, will drive a Toyota Supra on Saturday and jump into a Camry for Sunday’s Cup series race for a second consecutive weekend. Considering Reddick is ineligible for Xfinity Series points, finished 36th at Fontana, and has a bigger race to worry about on Sunday, we’re fading Reddick as a possible winner, despite his potentially inflated odds as a favorite.

Justin Allgaier

Justin Allgaier might be due to breakout and win at Vegas, having finished third in both Xfinity Series races this weekend. We’ll take Allagier to finish in the top ten and potentially win the Alsco Uniforms 300.

Cole Custer

Cole Custer is the only Ford ride that has the potential to win at Las Vegas, and we need to throw out last weekend’s final results. Custer might have finished 27th last weekend in Fontana, but he won the first two stages and the 2022 edition of Production Alliance Group 300. While Custer is successful at Fontana, we expect another strong performance from Custer this weekend.
