NBA Picks February 11th
Boston Celticsvs. Miami Heat
Tipoff – 2:00 pm EST
Spread: Celtics -5.0
Total: 224.5
I thought five points was too large of a spread for this game, but I see that Jimmy Butler is questionable for tomorrow’s game in Miami. Plus, Boston is the NBA’s second-best team on the road, with a record of 15-9 (and Miami is only 15-12 in the Kaseya Center this season). The Celtics have won three straight and five of their last six, and I think they handle business tomorrow on the road. The total is right in the range I expected it to be, so no play there.

Sacramento Kings vs. Oklahoma City Thunder
Tipoff – 3:00 pm EST
Spread: Thunder -4.5
Total: 239.5
The Oklahoma City Thunder laid a real egg on the road in Dallas on Saturday afternoon, losing by 35 points. That’s back-to-back losses for them, but both games were on the road and Sunday afternoon they are back in the Paycom Center in OKC. They are a scorching 20-6 at home this season, but the Sacramento Kings are one of the league’s best teams on the road this year, going 15-12. And the Thunder will be without newly acquired Gordon Hayward until after the All-Star break. I think the Kings can cover here for us. And I like the Under in this game.
