Los Angeles Clippersvs. Cleveland Cavaliers

Two red-hot teams lock it up on Monday in Cleveland’s Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. The visiting Los Angeles Clippers have won five straight games – including the past two on their East Coast road trip – and eight of their last nine. The host Cavaliers have won nine of their last 10 games, despite many key players sitting on the sidelines. One of those players, Evan Mobley, is expected to be back on the court on Monday. I think the home team, plus two points, is the play to make. No play on the total.

New Orleans Pelicans vs. Boston Celtics
Tipoff – 7:30 pm EST
Spread: Celtics -8.0
Total: 232.5
They’ve had a couple of hiccups recently, but overall the Boston Celtics are money at home this year. A 20-2 record in the TD Garden has them atop the heap in the NBA. This is bad news for the reeling New Orleans Pelicans, losers of two straight and three of their last four. And they aren’t just losing – they’re getting stomped – by 24 points, 24 points, and 14 points. I think the Celtics cover for us tomorrow at home. Once again, no play on the total.
