NBA Player Props: Best Bets for Monday, December 11 on DraftKings Sportsbook

After a day off on Sunday following the In-Season Tournament championship, the NBA is back in full force tonight. 26 teams are in action across the association, which gives us a large player pool to work with.

In this article, I’m going to break down two of my favorite NBA player props on DraftKings Sportsbook. Without further ado, let’s get into it.

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Dallas Mavericks

One of this season’s Sixth Man of the Year contenders, Hardaway Jr. steps on the floor with one goal...

to put the ball in the basket.

To his credit, the veteran wing is pretty effective at accomplishing that goal. THJ is averaging just under 17 points per game in 2023, and has hit this total in back-to-back contests.

Tonight, he should step into a significantly expanded role with Kyrie Irving (foot) sidelined. So far this year, Hardaway Jr. has excelled in this situation, averaging 25.3 points as the de facto No. 2 option with Irving out.

The Mavericks draw Memphis on Monday, which isn’t nearly as frightening of a defensive matchup as it’s been in years past. Take that into consideration along with THJ’s expected shot volume bump, and over 16.5 points looks extremely enticing.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Washington Wizards

Maxey is great, the Wizards are horrible. Analysis complete, right?

Fine, fine. We can actually dive into the numbers behind this pick, but in reality it’s just an expansion of the sentiment above.

Maxey’s offensive surge has continued as of late, with the young star scoring at least 28 points in four of his last five contests. Not only is this as salivating of a matchup as possible — with the Wizards ranking dead last in defensive rating — but it’s also a pace up spot, as Washington ranks second in that category.

The Wizards’ tendency to get out and run suits Maxey, who thrives in high-octane environments. He should see plenty of fast break opportunities along with a horrendous overall defensive effort by Washington, which sets the 23-year-old guard up nicely to hit this over.

Those are my two favorite NBA player props on Monday’s slate! Stay tuned for more picks later this week.
