NBA player props: Best bets for Tuesday, December 26 featuring Cade Cunningham, SGA, Domantas Sabonis

We’ve got nine games on Tuesday’s NBA slate, with a doubleheader on NBATV. Here’s a look at our favorite player props for the day’s action, with odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

Cade Cunningham over 23.5 points vs. Nets (-135)

The Pistons are one loss away from the longest losing streak in NBA history, and there’s no guarantee a big performance from Cunningham will save them. However, the No. 1 pick from the 2021 NBA Draft is seen as a cornerstone of this franchise. It’s up to him to avoid this level of infamy in what is an otherwise lost season. Cunningham is averaging 29.5 points per game over the last four, going over this line three times. Look for him to cross it again Tuesday.

CJ McCollum under 2.5 3-pointers vs. Grizzlies (+110)

Memphis is one of the worst teams defending the perimeter overall, but the Grizzlies have shored things up a bit in the last five games. They are 10th in opponent three-point percentage in that span, which makes the under an intriguing play here. McCollum had gone over this mark in five straight games before two unders in a row, although he did hit two triples in each of those games. It’s a risky play but one with a nice payout.

Domantas Sabonis triple-double vs. Trail Blazers (+245)

The Kings big man has been on fire lately, averaging 19.5 points, 8.4 assists and 12.6 rebounds per game over his last 10. He’s registered four triple-doubles in that span, with three coming in the last four contests. The Trail Blazers have struggled defensively, while the Kings are rounding into form offensively after a slow start. I like Sabonis to get to this mark against a weak opponent, although the possibility of a blowout does add some risk.

Franz Wagner over 6.5 rebounds vs. Wizards (+114)

This line is interesting, since Wagner has been a consistent presence on the glass. He’s averaging 6.5 rebounds per game over the last six games, going over this mark twice but registering exactly six rebounds in three straight games. In the last five contests, the Wizards are last in the NBA in opponent rebounds allowed. That’s a great matchup for Wagner, who is already a constant in the rebounding column. Look for him to get that extra board Tuesday to go over this line.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander under 6.5 assists vs. Timberwolves (+105)

Oklahoma City’s star point guard managed just four assists in his last contest against Minnesota, though he did drop 32 points in the close loss. The Thunder will be looking to register a nice win as 2023 winds down, and SGA having a big night will be part of that. However, I like him to go under on this mark again. The point guard has gone under this line in two of the last three games, and the Timberwolves have allowed the least assists to opponents over the last five contests.
