🏆 Ohio State vs. Rutgers - Ohio State -19 (-108) at DraftKings

This week, the Buckeyes are on the road against Rutgers. Both teams don’t allow many points. The Buckeyes allow 10.4, second-least in the country, while Rutgers allow 17.6, 16th-least in the nation. The Buckeyes have 139 pressures, 17 sacks, and 98 hurries this season compared to Rutgers’ 116 pressures, 22 sacks, and 73 hurries. In coverage, Rutgers allows a 58.7% reception rate, eight touchdowns, and five interceptions. The Buckeyes coverage unit allows a 56% reception rate. They’ve allowed just six touchdowns and have five interceptions.

When you look at this game, the way for Rutgers to cover here is to have their defense hold Ohio State down. They’re not going to score many points here against this Buckeyes defense, and they don’t in general, averaging 24.7 points per game, 76th in the nation.

The Buckeyes have several weapons, including Marvin Harrison Jr. and Emeka Egbuka. Their offense line will hold against Mohamed Toure and the Rutgers pass rush.

We don’t expect a lot of points here from the Buckeyes compared to what they normally do, but we like them to win here, 34-10.

🏆 Colorado vs. Oregon State - Over 62 (-112) at BetRivers

The Colorado Buffaloes average 32.1 points per game compared to Oregon State’s 33.7. However, Colorado allows 34.9, and Oregon State is a better defensive unit at 23.1 points allowed per game.

The Buffaloes have scored 28.7 per game over their last three games and scored just 16 last week.

The offensive line in Colorado just cannot protect quarterback Shedeur Sanders. He’s been sacked 39 times and pressured 158 times. Yes, you read that correctly. Only one quarterback, Brayden Schager, at Hawaii, has been pressured more. Sanders leads the country in getting sacked.

We don’t see the Buffaloes slowing down this Oregon State offense, especially the rushing attack. In contrast, the Buffaloes offense is resilient enough to put up points and face a secondary that’s allowed 13 touchdowns this season while Travis Hunter will oppose Tyrice Ivy Jr., who’s allowed ten catches of 14 targets for 141 yards and a touchdown.

Look for both teams to score plenty here.

🏆 Washington vs. USC - Under 76.5(-110) at BetMGM

We’re taking the under here. At 76.5, you simply have to. That’s an absurd number of points.

USC and Washington both score a ton of points. USC averages 45.9, while Washington averages 40.4. Together, that’s 85.9. Defensively, though, the Huskies allow just over 20 points per game, which is quite low across the country, ranking 27th in the nation. USC, on the other hand, does allow 32.6, which is 107th in the nation.

The Trojans scored 50 last week, but before that, they scored 32 against Utah and 20 against Notre Dame.

Even if Washington holds USC to 30, they still need to score more than 46 to cover here.

Based on just how many points this is, we’ll take the under.
