It’s a Reunion Sunday in Sin City as Bill Belichick’s Patriots face his former offensive coordinator (Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels) and quarterback (Jimmy Garoppolo).

Belichick, though, will hardly be in a sentimental mood with his 1-4 Pats having lost their most recent two games by a combined 72-3.

Scuffling QB Mac Jones is getting another start, but he has the shortest of leashes having thrown four interceptions over the last two weeks and New England averaging a league-low 11 points per game.

Garoppolo hasn’t been much better, having tossed a league-high seven interceptions for the 2-3 Raiders, who are averaging only 15.8 points per outing.

But he does have two top-notch targets to throw to in WRs Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers, who have combined for 62 receptions, 716 yards and all six of the team’s scoring receptions to date.

The Raiders are a field goal favorite at most sites with a game total hovering around 41.5 points.

Jones and the New England offense figure to actually get into the end zone a couple times this week against a less-than-imposing Las Vegas defense.

But that still won’t be enough to match the Raiders’ superior offensive talent, especially now that the injury-addled Pats are without their top pass rusher (Matthew Judon) and best cornerback (rookie Christian Gonzalez) on defense.

The Patriots understandably figure to focus most of their defensive attention to slowing Adams, and that leaves the door open for Meyers, another former Patriot, to show well against his former team.

Meyers is in the midst of an under-the-radar strong season so far with 10 or more targets, seven or more receptions and 75-plus yards in three of the four games he’s played in.

We’ll bank on him clearing his receiving prop totals again Sunday.
