Preview, Tips and Best Bets for Eagle Farm Saturday, October 15

Cinque Toro is the next best bet for Eagle Farm on Saturday, October 15th.

Mishani Renegade (1) ran down the favourite She's A Rogue (7) on debut. Gary Portelli brought FLYING TRAPEZE (3) north to find a good track. Mishani RAIDER (2) was scratched at the gates last week but trialled successfully at Beaudesert on Tuesday.

HIGHLIGHTS (1) is expected to win the Class 3 Handicap 1600m race at Eagle Farm on Saturday, October 15. Rations (3) has been improved by two outings and hit the line well last week. SMYTZER (4) controlled proceedings to won easily at the Sunshine Coast last start and the runner-up franked the form by winning at Ipswich on Wednesday.

Cinque Torri (1) has won three of his past five races. Five Crowds (6) won at Newcastle. Night Guy (10) tried hard chasing Zuma California last week. Confesseded (3) was unsuited by the tempo at Sunshine Coast.

Oyyrar (2) has won three of his past four races. Red Wave (7) ran a bold race to place in the Toowoomba Cup. ZA CEIBAS (5) found 2400m beyond him last start. Sacramento Joe (8) drops 4kg of the weight he lost at the Sunshine Coast.

BOOM COURT (2) is the favourite in the race 5-Three-year-old Plate 1400m at Eagle Farm on Saturday, October 15. SOOTHSAYER (1) worried BOOM COURT ( 2) out of it last start and meets him 2.5kg worse. HONKYTONK DIVA (7) chased SOothsayer and BOom COUNT (3) home last time and she will get every chance with Larry Cassidy.

Josh King has taken over the Steve Tregea horses. ARGYLE LANE (1) has won all three outings in lesser company and takes the step up to Saturday grade. AMITY GAL (9) is another bringing strong provincial form and all of her wins have been over this trip. STRategic Position (7) joined Tony Gollan from South Australia and has had two trials under his belt. PERSEIDS (6) won in this Class at his most recent start.

Matt Kropp gives COLD HARD FACT (5) plenty of racing. BETTER GET SET (13) has three wins from 19 starts but most of her outings have been in higher class. AMORE VELOCE (7) won three of five races and got the job done in a Class 3 when resuming at the Sunshine Coast. MIX (4) hit the line strongly when he resumed here in Benchmark 75 over 1000m.

Jason Deamer has been trying to get a Brisbane win for a while. GREEK HERO (7) was beaten by Jetty in a Benchmark 90 Handicap over 1600m last start. SO DAPPER (8) set his own tempo last time and held them off. Larry Cassidy could repeat. Traduce (4) is fitter for two outings and will have him hitting the line. Blacklog (9) gets no rest but will put himself in the race at the business end.

AXE (2) won his second start for the stable at Toowoomba. Mass Destruction (7) has only one win in ten tries here. Last Chance (5) was runner-up at his only previous start here and goes well for Mark Du Plessis. Bullfinch (9) is resuming and has a good record at this track.

SWEET MARGOT MAY (11) is fitter for three outings and will have her in the box seat throughout. TARA JASMINE (14) has belied her ‘only at Grafton' tag at recent starts winning here three starts back and chasing SWEet Marigot May home gamely last start. GEO (19) struggled on the tight track at Canterbury first-up and Kris Lees has brought him North.
