The Texas offense is scoring 4.88 runs per game, while batting .272, with a .341 on-base percentage. The pitching staff carries a 3.77 ERA, with a 1.20 WHIP.
Andrew Heaney (9-6, 4.14 ERA, 118 Ks) will take the mound for Texas. The tenth-year pitcher delivered another solid outing last week, holding Miami scoreless thru 5.2 innings en route to his third straight victory. Heaney’s pitched shutout ball through his last two starts, and he’s in a great ballpark to pin win number ten down. Cobb has delivered mixed results after earning his first career All-Star nod last month, he’ll attempt to get some consistency going with the postseason looming against Texas here.

San Francisco got really close last night, but they’ve underwhelmed at the plate this season, and they haven’t been able to provide consistent run support. The matchup of Andrew Heaney and Alex Cobb will be solid as well, with the former streaking right now and the latter looking to bounce back from a bad spot in Oakland.
