The first round of the PGA Playoffs kicks off this week with the FedEx St. Jude Championship at TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee.

Below are our favorite St. Jude Championship props, including Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler picks.

2023 FedEx St. Jude Championship props: Odds, picks and long shots

The FedEx Cup Playoffs are here, and this year will feature a reduced field of the top 70 players based on season-long point totals.

The top 50 finishers will advance to the BMW Championship, followed by the top 30 to the Tour Championship on Aug. 24. Check out our top FedEx St. Jude Championship props below.

FedEx St. Jude Championship best bets: Rory McIlroy Top 10 finish (-115 or better)

Rory McIlroy’s stellar season has shown no signs of slowing down after two impressive showings across the pond at the Genesis Scottish Open (winner) and The British Open (T6).

The Northern Irishman has now strung together seven straight top-10 finishes and ranks second on Tour this season with 10. McIlroy is third in FedEx Cup standings and will be keen to pad his stats in the first two rounds of the playoffs.

The FedEx Cup points leader will enter the Tour Championship with a 10-under score, with the rest of the field getting progressively fewer strokes based on standings.

2023 St. Jude props: Scottie Scheffler Top 5 finish (+115 or better)

It was as if the sky had fallen when Scottie Scheffler failed to finish in the top 5 (T23) at The Open a couple of weeks ago.

Before the anomaly at Royal Liverpool, the world No. 1 golfer had racked up an otherworldly seven straight top-5 finishes and had finished outside of the top 12 just once in 20 events this season.

After a couple of weeks off, it's game on for Scheffler, who will look to overtake Jon Rahm in the FedEx Cup Standings over the next two weeks. Rahm has a narrow lead (3,320 to 3,146), but winners will now receive quadruple FedEx Cup Points (2,000) for the first two rounds of the playoffs.

St. Jude Championship long shot picks: J.T. Poston Round 1 leader (+5000 or better)

J.T. Poston has been making noise at just the right time. He enters the first round of the playoffs ranked 45th in FedEx Cup points, thanks to a sizzling two months of golf that’s seen him finish at least T7 in four of his last five tournaments.

In his previous two events, he’s fired opening rounds of 65 and 66, making him a legitimate candidate for this long-shot bet. At last year’s FedEx St. Jude Championship, Poston shot an opening round 64 en route to a T20.

St. Jude Championship matchup bets: Xander Schauffele (+100 or better) vs. Patrick Cantlay

This is strictly a value play with two of the world's best golfers (and good friends) pitted against each other at Caesars Sportsbook.

Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay are ranked No. 6 and No. 4 in OWGR, respectively, and 16th and 13th in FedEx Cup points. Schauffele has nine top-10 finishes this season to Cantlay’s eight, with neither player finding the winner’s circle yet.

Schauffele has notched 11 top-25 finishes in his last 12 tournaments, including six top-10s. He's also fared better than Cantlay at St. Jude in recent years, notching the only top-10 finish between the two in the last three events (T6, 2019-20).

With two equally matched golfers, we’ll take the +100 odds over Cantlay’s -120 every day of the week.
