Stetson Bennett defies all odds to lead Georgia to glory

Stetson Bennett started the season as the second-choice quarterback behind J.T. Daniels. He was promoted to the starting position after Daniels suffered an oblique injury. Adam Archuleta became a first-round pick out of Arizona State in 2001 after starting as a walk-on and playing seven years in the NFL. Georgia couldn't get over the hump until it gave the job to Bennett. On Monday, Smart called a timeout and took out Bennett, allowing him to walk off the field to a standing ovation. The quarterback position was the one issue dogging Smart for all the success he had in his first six years at his alma mater.
