There is no probable payout pool for superfectas. The heavily wagered upon runners tend to be over bet in the superintending pool. A 10 cent superincreta is a great leveraged wager if you select one runner you believe will land in any one of the top four positions.

The superfecta key strategy requires you to ensure that your keyed horse finishes in one of the top four positions. To maximize return, I am looking for three conditions to create potential for a high payoff.

The conditions for the superfecta are: Betting interests of at least nine entries but not more than 12, the ability to confidently key a horse that is not an odds-on or a heavily bet favorite, and field with runners that would be at very high odds at post time but could be in the top four randomly.

There are 10 state-bred fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up, will face off in a six-furlong dirt race at Aqueduct. The field has combined for a lead at the second call one in nine starts. No. 1 Fuligni is going to be a contender at odds of 6-1. Gracefully Wild is the probable betting favorite. There are also races at Churchill and Del Mar. They are all good bets. A full field of 12 lines up in this seven furlong dirt race for runners who started for a claiming price of $16,000 or less in 2021-2022. The entire field exits dirt races including six at Keeneland, two at Aqueduct, and one each at Churchill, Mountaineer, Thistledown and Laurel. No. 1 Ragtime Blues trained by Kelly Breen has been in the money both tries at the distance and has finished in top four nine consecutive times. So Dialed In has eight top ten finishes in his last 10 starts and is a good contender at odds of 15-1. First Glimpse is trying the seven-furlongs for the first time and looks like a grinder with a seven of 13 top three finishes on the dirt.

There are 10 runners in the mile and one-eighth dirt race for 3-year-olds and up. Two of the runners are trained by Thomas Van Berg and Saffie Joseph Jr. The field has combined for an in-the-money rate of greater than one in two starts overall and nearly two of three at the distance. No.7 Tiz Rye Time is a grinder with 10 consecutive top four finishes for three different trainers. No 4 Keystone Field has run on turf and dirt four of his last five tries with two wins and a fourth place finish.

There is a one mile dirt race for 2-year-olds at Aqueduct, Churchill and Del Mar. There are 10 maiden claimers in the race. Two of them are trained by Doug O'Neill and Peter Miller. They have both had successful turf races. No. 1 Argentina Cries is trying dirt for the first time. No 10 Reign Over Me is saddled by small stable trainer Rolando Quinonez. The winner is at odds of 6-1. It's a very unpredictable race with many horses. A few horses are going to be wagering favorites.
