Today's DFS Prop Picks (Wednesday, 9/13/23)

Welcome to our PrizePicks MLB DFS prop picks for Wednesday, September 13, 2023. The 2023 MLB season is underway here at RotoBaller, and we have you covered with some terrific plays from our friends over at PrizePicks. PrizePicks is a great DFS fantasy picks site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play.

On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money.

Announcement: We have two awesome new Props Optimizers for the MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, and NCAA! The PrizePicks Optimizer and Prop Bets Optimizer are both available in our new Props Premium Package, which includes exclusive access to RotoBaller's VIP Discord chat rooms for props and betting.

PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.

The second game is known as Single Stat. For the MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total.

You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

MLB DFS Props - Over/Under Picks for Today

Taj Bradley has struck out six or more batters in three of his previous five starts and has a solid matchup against the Minnesota Twins today. Over the previous three weeks, the Twins have posted the ninth-highest K rate vs. right-handers with a rate of 24.9%. This game will also be on the road where Bradley has posted a very solid 12.3 K/9 mark this season.

Dallas Keuchel LESS than 3.5 strikeouts

We will stay in the same game with this next selection as Dallas Keuchel will be facing the Tampa Bay Rays. Keuchel has only reached four strikeouts once in his six starts this season and does not have a juicy matchup today, either. The Rays have posted a 108 wRC+ mark as well as a walk rate of 9.5% vs. left-handers over the previous three weeks. This will make things difficult for Keuchel as he has walked at least two batters in four of his six starts and has allowed 14 earned runs in just 26 1/3 innings pitched.

This is a tremendous spot for Jameson Taillon aside from the fact that the game will be played at Coors Field. Over the previous three weeks, the Rockies have posted a 27.5% K rate vs. right-handers, which ranks the third-worst in baseball. They have also posted just a 62 wRC+ mark over this same span, which ranks dead last. Meanwhile, Taillon has struck out six or more batters in five of his previous seven starts.

Eduardo Rodriguez has struck out at least six batters in three of his previous five starts. He will be up against the Cincinnati Reds tonight, who have posted a 23.6% K rate vs. left-handers on the season. That is ranked the 10th-worst in baseball. Half of the previous 12 pitchers the Reds have faced have eclipsed this total and E Rod should have a good shot at home in this one where he has posted an 8.7 K/9 mark.
