I’ll probably stay with the Jays in this one. The line’s too thick to mess with, though. Gausman is coming off a pretty good start in a loss to Baltimore with two earned in 6.0 innings. Prior to that Gausman had a rough outing versus Philly (5.1 innings; five earned), so he’s been choppy lately. Likewise with Gray, who had five earned in 3.0 innings versus Boston recently but bounced back for 6.0 innings and one earned at Yankee Stadium in his last start. On Sunday Toronto’s bullpen had a rough appearance but the offense wasn’t too bad. It’ll take a much better pitching performance for this opener but the Jays should be fine.
