Wally Hennessey returns to Charlottetown to win Gold Cup and Saucer Trial 3

Patrikthepiranha A won Trial 3 of the Gold Cup and Saucer at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino on Aug. 15. Wally Hennessey drove the Melissa Beckwith-trained son of Four Starzzz Shark to a 1:51.3 performance for owner Thestable.ca. No Plan Intended (driven by Jody Jamieson) and Rhodena Road (Brett MacDonald) came second and third. The three will advance to the $100,000 Gold cup final on August 20. Finalists are Ideal Perception, Time To Dance, Bettim Again, Sintra, Major Hill and Laughagain Hanover.
