Texans vs. Ravens anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Dalton Schultz (Texans, TE) +333 via BetMGM ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Baltimore Ravens surrendered six touchdowns to tight ends in 2022, and on Sunday they face one of the top rookie quarterbacks of 2023 in Houston Texans starter C.J. Stroud. One of Stroud's most experienced pass catchers just so happens to be tight end Dalton Schultz.

He's recorded at least four receiving touchdowns each of the past three seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, including five across just 15 games in 2022. Schultz is now one of the veterans in a much weaker Houston group that'll be charged with helping to ease Stroud into the NFL.

Houston is a 9.5-point underdog in Baltimore on Sunday and will surely be airing it out often, with plenty of garbage time expected in Brenden Schaeffer's Texans vs. Ravens prediction. First touchdown scorer predictions

Cardinals vs. Commanders first touchdown scorer prediction: Brian Robinson Jr. (Commanders, RB) +650 via DraftKings ⭐⭐⭐

Price shopping across our NFL prop betting sites is of the utmost importance when betting on touchdown predictions. DraftKings is posting +145 odds for second-year running back Brian Robinson Jr. to score an anytime touchdown, with Caesars offering suppressed +135 odds in that market. A seemingly small difference, but that's a lost profit of $10 on a $100 bet without a DraftKings account.

The difference grows substantially in the first touchdown market for Sunday's matchup. DraftKings again is posting the market-high odds of +650, with Caesars' offering down at +470. That's a difference of $180 on a $100 bet.

The Commanders are one of the heaviest favorites by the NFL Week 1 odds, laying 7 points to the Arizona Cardinals at home. And that's with second-year quarterback Sam Howell making just his second NFL start for Washington.

Washington should score early and often in Week 1 with Arizona's sights seemingly fully set on the 2024 NFL Draft. Though expectations are high for Howell and there are plenty of weapons in Washington's passing game, Robinson and fellow Commanders running back Antonio Gibson are more than capable of lightening the load for the inexperienced starter.
